Lin from Tump Willows has cultivated a deep passion for willow basketry over the past 20 years, sparked by my role teaching the craft and inspired by the abundant natural resources in my forest home. I have a fascination with willow which extends beyond its beauty and variety; I appreciates its practicality, durability, and potential for artistic expression.
The name "Tump Willows" reflects the local Gloucestershire landscape, rooted in the term "tump," which denotes a small hill. My commitment to sharing the joys of weaving has become a rewarding journey of creativity and community.
The workshops are mostly based in the beautiful Forest of Dean.
